Singaporean (Chinese) Recipe: Black Pepper Beef in Paprika

1. Eggs x 02
2. Black Pepper (depending on level of spiciness)
3. Sugar
4. Salt
5. Chinese Light Soy Sauce x 03 tablespoons
6. Cornflour
7. Chinese Oyster Sauce x 03 tablespoons
8. Water x 03 tablespoons
9. Beef/Chicken x 1kg
10. Paprika x 03
11. Onion x 02
12. Oil
1. Slice the beef and marinate it with (1), (2), (3), (4), (5)
2. Slice the Paprika and onions
3. With about 5 tablespoons of oil, fry the onions until they are soft
4. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing (6), (7), (8) till they are well mixed
5. Once the onions are soft, add the beef and stir fry until they are slight pinkish (1/2 cooked)
6. Add paprika and cover the wok (simmer for 3 mins)
7. Once the paprika are softer, add in the sauce and stir fry
8. Add more black pepper or cornflour to make the sauce thicker
9. Serve!
